Sandy Lane Collaborative Project

Sandy Lane is a collaborative project done as part of a 2nd Year University module. We used Maya to Model, Texture, Rig and Animate and After Effects to composite.
The animated short was made by a group of four people, Aydin Clayton, Zelda Tickell, Zig Bingham and Owen Lye (myself). We all animated one or two shots each.
Music was made by Abisheke Tikiribandage.

Texturing
Texturing of assets for this project. It was a mixture of Maya’s own Hypershade for the TV and Chair and Substance Painter for the Goose.

Rigging using RapidRig. Blendshapes used to make facial expressions.

Animation and Compositing
I was tasked with animating and compositing Shot 3 and Shot 4 for our animated short.
I also worked on compositing Shot 7 to add water effects. Shot 7 was animated by Zig Bingham.
